Maintenance is the heart beat of Lagos Waste Management Authority. i.e. the Engineering Services keep the Authority going through
regular repairs of Authority’s trucks or by carrying out regular repairs on the Authority’s operational and commercial fleets of trucks
which may come in form of preventive and corrective maintenance in all our Three Workshops. Engineering Services have three
functional workshops strategically located within Lagos Metropolis to cater for maintenance and for quick response for repair needs
of our trucks anytime of the day.

Evolution of Fleet
it is always necessary to cast our mind back to 2005 when this management started to operate with less than five (5) operational
trucks and four (4) utility trucks. rehabilatation of trucks was progressively pursued and trucks that were more than 25years old
were put back on the road. though the the trucks were not stable,breaking down easily due to one problem or the other, yet we were
able to achieve some measure of success which encouraged Lagos State Government tosupport us with 40
"Tokunbo Mammoth Trucks ". I always like to mention the skill and commitment of our engineers and technicians who worked to achieve this rehabilitation.
Thersafter, the State responded to our obvious need by procuring 80 Ford cargo and 20 BWC mammoth trucks which brought great releif to solid waste management evacuation |

 Iddo Central Workshop
Iddo central workshop is located in the Authority’s
headquarters Otto, Iddo, Lagos. The area of coverage of
the workshop’s operational trucks/route are Lagos Island,
Mainland, Rowe Park, Apapa, Surulere, Orile as well as
Festac/Ojo spanning into Otto-Awon and Agbara.
The workshop also provides services to P.S.P operators in
some specialized area like hydraulics system. |

Mushin Workshop
This is located in the heart of Mushin i.e. Isolo road,
Mushin, Lagos.The workshop is in charge of all the
operational trucks that cover Mushin Oshodi and their
environment.

Ikeja & Ogudu Workshop
The workshop is situated along Awolowo road Ikeja. Ikeja
workshop is responsible for the rehabilitation/repairs of operational trucks collecting waste at Ikeja, Agege, Abule egba. The Workshop also Services Operational/Commercial fleet at Ikeja, Agege, Abule-Egba, Otta Express Road and Ogudu. |
