The Legal unit’s role is to support LAWMA in carrying out its multidimensional responsibility as an efficient waste management service provider and a regulator, through provision of legal procedures and advisory, based on extant laws and policies, to facilitate and regulate the performance of its day-to-day operating activities.

The unit ultimately serves as a hub for facilitating administrative, regulatory and legal “compliance”, in consistency with globally acceptable best practices, thereby entrenching a process for sustainable growth.
